Join Professor Ari Ezra Waldman in conversation about his new book “Industry Unbound: The Inside Story of Privacy, Data, and Corporate Power.”

Ari Ezra Waldman is Professor of Law and Computer Science, and Faculty Director of The Center for Law, Information, and Creativity at Northeastern University. He’ll be speaking with Neil Richards, Koch Distinguished Professor in Law, and Director of The Cordell Institute, at Washington University in St. Louis.

Based on nearly four years of field research inside technology companies, interviewing employees, and reviewing internal documents, Industry Unbound explores how companies do privacy, or what they do behind the scenes, behind the marketing campaigns. The book reveals the systematic ways in which the information industry uses various tools to undermine our privacy.
